Welcome!
Having spent the early part of my life in many different countries across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, I am an open-minded Psychiatrist who has been exposed to many different cultures, languages, and clinical scenarios. As the mom of two elementary aged children, I intimately understand the pressures and challenges of modern childhood and parenting. I have extensive experience working with adolescents from a variety of backgrounds on a range of issues. I also have lengthy experience working with college aged students, having worked for a number of years at Manhattanville College Counseling Center.
Currently, in addition to my private practice, I am on staff at White Plains Hospital, and serve as Clinic Medical Director at St. Vincent’s Clinic. My special interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, depression, anxiety, mental illness in the medically ill, and cross-cultural psychiatry.
I see patients for medication management ages 5 through adulthood. Taking an individualized approach to patient management, I coordinate care closely with families and therapists. I am very dedicated to my patients and strive to accomplish positive long term, interpersonal relationships with them and their families to achieve the best possible outcome
